Severe Cold FAQ

Q: I am suffering from severe cold. What should I do to overcome with it?

A: At first, take plenty of rest and drink lots of water, it will keeps you away from dehydration. Then visit the doctor he will tell you the reason of cold like due to viral or any other thing and will medicate you according to it.

Q: My 18 yrs old child has severe cold for more than 15 days and no cold medicines are relieving him from it. What must i do?

A: As your child suffers lot for many days due to severe cold and nasal congestion, consult your doctor about it. It may cause due to any infection or allergy from anything like polluted air, any food material especially refrigerated or chilled, or due to the change of weather, or more. He will tell you about taking some of the precautions and will medicate you accordingly. No need to worry everything will be fine.


Q: I am in first trimester of my pregnancy and is suffering from severe cold for more than a week. Will it affect my pregnancy or just normal?

A: Don't worry cold is quite normal during pregnancy but you need to consult with your Doctor . Many of women suffer from it and will not harm your baby until you have high fever. Consult your gynecologist and she will give you some medicine and antibiotics which are safe during pregnancy.

Q: What must be the reason that I used to suffer from severe cold once in every week or two?

A: This type of severe cold is mainly due to some allergic problem like from dust or cold weather or chilled storms. Try to avoid such things that cause you allergic cold.Take some precautions

Q: I felt cold symptoms and vomiting with runny nose since yesterday. What will be the cause of it?

A: It might be any viral fever or flu. Consult to the doctor without getting late. He or she will give you proper medicines. Have plenty of rest and drink lots of water.
